Chiropractor

Dr Yong Sung CHOI

Bachelor of Medical Science(University of Sydney),

Master of Chiropractic, (Macquarie University)

Yong grew up in Busan, South Korea.

His first chiropractic experience was in 2003, when he observed and was treated by a Canadian graduate chiropractor while working as a translator at a traditional clinic in Seoul. The chiropractic care improved his chronic sinusitis significantly. During this time, he also served as a medic in the Korean 73rd Infantry division caring for soldiers with injuries and illness including various musculoskeletal issues. These experiences motivated him to become a chiropractor.

After graduating from Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in 2009, he was fortunate to start his chiropractic career at Newcastle Chiropractic Centre, the longest established chiropractic clinic in Newcastle NSW. At this clinic, he learned the importance of correct diagnosis and evidence based approach in order to treat each patient’s condition in the most effective way.

In 2013, he then moved to Adelaide where he previously went to his secondary school at Sacred Heart College and has been serving in Warradale, Glenelg and Marion areas since.

Yong is a dedicated chiropractor. He is passionate about helping his patients with their general health care needs. He pays full attention to each patient and treats them with the dignity and courtesy that they deserve.

In his practice, he uses a combination of soft tissue release, gentle spinal manipulation/mobilisation, dry needle, electrotherapy and recommends appropriate exercises.

Through ongoing training and further studies, Yong continuously updates his knowledge with the latest treatment methods.
